I am dropping in to share my latest writing project with you. It is a Journal and I added some questions for the readers to see how they would have handled their life under certain circumstances.
It has inspiring stories of areas of my life, and me triumphing over the many challenges I faced. Looking back I realized I have always been so loved. The Divine always had my back.
I titled it: A River Called Change! There will be a hard copy as well as an EBook version.
I made it inspirational and thought-provoking. I joined with other writers and authors for this project for A Beautiful Life Magazine the publisher.
Whenever I presented Law of Attraction and inspirational workshops in the early 90’s, I always tried to incorporate the BIG ‘C’s of success in my presentations. On one occasion my entire presentation revolved around 7 ‘C’s of Success and I could have continued on for another full workshop as everyone was really into the subject matter.
I had written this blog some days ago when to my delight, I found an article by Jim Rohn called Change Begins with Choice. How truly synchronistic! I feel so blessed whenever this happens. I take it for confirmation that I am on the right track so I simply had to share some excerpts from Jim’s article at the end. However, here are four of those big ‘C’s that I love to talk about.
The first is CLARITY – I have always stressed that in order to make any major change e.g., life, career, profession, residence, whatever; one needs CLARITY. Be clear of your intentions; whatever those intentions are. Then visualize and focus. Without razor sharp clarity, you may get something, however not what you intended or your heart desired. It is like the saying, “If you don’t know where you’re going, you are sure to end up some place else,” Indeed! Clarity is very important. It is like the foundation when building a house. Except this “house” is your life. Clearly picturing the end result is crucial. And what a great delight when it turns out better than you anticipated.
CHOICE is one of my favorite ‘C’s. It is by far the most powerful of all. You have the ability and responsibility to choose whatever you desire. It is the choices you make in life that will enable you to succeed. You have been given this incredible gift called Choice. Only humans have the gift of choice. Use it wisely! Where you are today is due to the many choices you have made. If for some reason you are unhappy with your choice(s), Stop! Regroup. Refocus, and start to rebuild with CONFIDENCE. Remember success is only a CHOICE away.
CONFIDENCE – Once you have the clarity and have made a choice, go forth towards your destiny knowing that the universe is working on your behalf. Combining those powerful three ‘C’s in your life, be confident that whatever results appear in your life, it will be the perfect CHANGE you desired and visualized. The future and power is all yours.
CHANGE will be the new beginning for you. I wish you many blessings on your path to success.
Here is an excerpt from Jim’s Article “Change Begins with Choice”:
“Any day we wish; we can discipline ourselves to change it all. Any day we wish; we can open the book that will open our mind to new knowledge. Any day we wish; we can start a new activity. Any day we wish; we can start the process of life change.” He goes on to state, “We cannot allow our errors in judgment, repeated every day, to lead us down the wrong path. We must keep coming back to those basics that make the biggest difference in how our life works out. And then we must make the very choices that will bring life, happiness and joy into our lives”.
And if I may be so bold to offer my last piece of advice for someone seeing and needing to make changes in their life – if you don’t like how things are, Change it! You’re not a tree. You have the ability to totally transform every area in your life – and it all begins with your very own power of choice.”

In February during a Power Animal Workshop that I ran, a number of the women attending got Elephant as their power animal. It was a wonderful and empowering experience for them and for the rest of us as well, because we got to hear about their encounter with their Elephant and we were in awe of all they shared. Their Elephant power animal made it known they were there to work with them and help them on their present life journey. Each individual’s Elephant offered them experiential experiences during the Journey while sharing their medicine of power and wisdom with them. Exactly what those individuals needed for where they are, what they are doing, and where they are going in their professional as well as personal lives. You see, Elephant medicine is that of the Sacred Feminine. The Goddess Connection!
In January after reading a story on gratitude and how it energetically changes one’s life in many wonderful ways when one focuses on what they are grateful for on a daily basis, I decided to set aside some time daily over the next 21 days and try that practice for myself. It advised that at the end of each day before going to sleep, review all the experiences and good things that occurred during the day and give thanks for them. I thought, what a brilliant way of working with gratitude.
When I think of change I recall something I read some years ago that said “Everything is in the process of becoming something more, something else. Life is marching forward in accord with a divine plan that is coded into the very fabric of each being.” Everything is in transition and the only constant in our lives is change, so let’s welcome and embrace the process. Don’t let anyone or anything steal your dream! It is yours. Nurture it. Protect it from negativity and pay close attention to how you intend to manifest it into your physical reality. A dream is like a beautiful flower. It begins its life as a seed growing in the garden of your mind, and your thoughts.
